In about 1995 or 1996, my father and I started work on entering our extensive and complicated family tree into a genealogy database. Sadly, he died before we got further than a beta version of his ideas.
The programming and subsequent development of the software is the brainchild of my husband, Ben Laurie, without whom none of this would have happened.
