Lucy Sophia Frerichs , 1874 - Thirlestaine Hall (her family home) is sold and the family moves to Withdeane Hall near Brighton. She met her future husband in 1858 in Meran, Italy. She was blue-eyed, had "fine copper hair" and very beautiful hands.
