John Vander Horst Rees, J.P., of Killymacnllwyd, Carmarthenshire, and of Colham, who d. 1908, by his 2nd wife Lydia Mary, who rf. 1916, dau. of the late John Peachey, Esq., R.N. ; 4. 1868; m. 1890 Emily Louisa Amanda, dau. of the late Thomas Michael, Esq., of Wolverhampton, and has, with other issue, a son, ?John Vander Horst, b. 1905. Mr. Rees, who was educated at the R. Naval School and at King's Coll., London, and was formerly Lieut. 6th Batt. King's R. Rifle Corps, and the Missions to Seamen Chaplain at Antwerp and at Manchester, was appointed Vicar of St. Mary's, Preston, 1912.— Residence: St. Mary's Vicarage, Preston, Lancashire.
