Helen Frederika Conyers formerly Lang, London Gazette, April 4, 1873 Whitehall, March 18, 1873 The Queen has been pleased to grant unto Helen Frederika Lang, Spinster, eldest daughter of Frederick Henry Lang, of Lower Redlands, near Reading, in the county of Berks, Esquire, late a Captain in the 34th Regiment of Foot, by. Helen, his wife, sister of Charles Edward Conyers,. Esquire Lieutenant Colonel in Her Majesty's Army, Her Royal licence and authority that she may take the surname Conyers, in lieu of that of Lang, and bear the arms of Conyers; such arms being duly exemplified according to the laws od arms, and recorded in the College of Arms, otherwise the said Royal licence and permission to be void and of none effect: And to command that the said Royal concession and declaration be recorded in Her Majesty's said College of Arms.
