Edward Pryse Lloyd 1786 - 1868
Edward Pryse Lloyd , only surv. son. Farmer 124 acres JP empl 3 labourers and a boy (1851). It is probably he who expanded and built the new Georgian manor house at Plas Glansevin ca 1823. ... Or at least added the "Nash" staircase ca 1823. Of Glansevin. He owned the Wern Newydd estate (inherited). The Lloyds of Glansevin are said to derive from Idio Wyllt, son of Suthrie, Lord of Desmond, in Ireland, by Nest, his wife, daughter of Tudwr Mawr, King of South Wales.
