, Maud remained unmarried after her fiancee died in W W 1, and lived at home until 1933. She became her Aunt Lucy's best friend. * She was an early member of the Parramatta Historical Society. * She inherited her mothers furniture and photos (including those from Germany), when her mum died. * When Maud died she left everything to her neice Roma, who auctioned Maud's home and all of her possessions.
