Oriel Coll., matric. 29 April, 1714, aged 16; colonel of a company 2nd regiment of footguards, adjutant-general of the forces, M.P. Horsham Feb., 1737, until his death 28 Nov., 1748; brother of Arthur 1706, and of George 1711. See Foster's Parliamentary Dictionary.
