, of Bryn Towy, near Carmarthen. Coroner. Acted at some of the trials to do with the Rebecca Riots of the 1840s. Poss. Tanylan Farm Holidays - Bryntowy Bryntowy Once a farm in its own right, this detached cottage is the picture of innocence, but in fact carries a sinister history. In the gallery bedroom is a "wrecker's window" which it is said was used during stormy weather to lure ships into apparent safety. Once broken upon the shore, the vessel would be stripped of its treasures. Today it provides holiday accommodation sleeping up to 6 people.
