Francis Beaumont c. 1584 - 1616
Francis Beaumont , English Jacobean poet and playwright. He wrote several plays for the Elizabethan stage -- most of them in collaboration with John Fletcher (who later collaborated with Shakespeare in the writing of some of Shakespeare's last plays). He married in 1613.
