Charles Bertie post 1665 - 1737
Charles Bertie , sp. BP ed. 1881 says he was unmarried. 6th son of the 3rd earl of Lindsay. FILE - Descent of title to copyhold land and messuages in the manor of Ingoldmells with Addlethorpe - ref. Charles Bertie to the use of the persons appointed by his will, 30 December 1725 [see below, 865/3-5]; court baron of William Burrell Massingberd, esq: admission of Carr Brackenbury (son of Carr Brackenbury esq., last surviving trustee of the Hon. Charles Bertie) in trust during the minority of Lord Albemarle Bertie, 22 October 1742. The Lincolnshire Pedigrees state that this Charles is son of Robert, 4th earl of Lindsey, but this cannot be true.
