Sir Francis Child , Sheriff - 1722-1723.............Francis CHILD, London Alderman for Farringdon without (1731), elected on 29 Sep. and sworn in as Lord Mayor of the City of London on 29 Oct. 1731. Banker, he succeeded his father in the Aldermanry of Farringdon Without and in the headship of the bank. Goldsmith.
