Recites terms of Banks's will; the marriage settlement of James Hamilton Stanhope with Lady Frederica Louisa Murray (eldest dau. of William, earl of Mansfield), 6 and 7 July 1820; the will (17 Feb. 1823) and codicil (of same date) of J.H. Stanhope, whereby he devised his interest in the Lincs. estates to his son James Banks Stanhope, and, should he d.s.p., to the use of the younger children of his brother Philip Henry, earl Stanhope; the will of Sir Henry Hawley, dated 17 Jan. 1825; deaths of J.H.
