Lionel (Leo) Walter Charles D'Arcy Dunsterville , educ. Kingswear, and Camb. eldest son. Issue. "LEO (Lionel Walter Charles D'arcy Dunsterville, dob, eldest son of Lionel and Daisie Dunsterville) Leo was born in China whilst his father, 'Stalky' was on campaigns there. As his parents were constantly abroad, Leo attended boarding school, spending his holidays with his father's good old school friend, Rudyard Kipling, at his mill. There are some sad little letters to his parents, wishing that the wars would end. Leo was a Cambridge graduate (Literature or Mathematics?) though the story goes that he did not bother to get out of bed for the awards ceremony! His parents would not consider his inclination for the stage, so he became a reluctant schoolmaster at a local prep school, creating musical entertainments for the pupils, teaching maths, literature and music amongst other things.
