Emily Fowke , Poss.. Merthyr Telegraph, and General Advertiser For the Iron Districts of South Wales. 6 December 1862 BASTARDY. Emily Fowke of Tredegar summoned John Price, late of Tredegar, parish constable, but now of Newport, County Court bailiff, to show cause why an affiliation order should not be made against him in con- sequence of his being the father of her child, but neither parties appearing the complaint was dismissed. Merthyr Telegraph, and General Advertiser for the Iron Districts of South Wales 21 February 1863 child was born 25th?/29th? Sep 1862. She lives at Brynbicha between Tredegar and Ebbw Vale. John Price lives in Tredegar and is a county court bailiff at Newport She had previously had a child who was dead by this time. The case was not dismissed. He was to pay 1s 6d a week and costs.
