, educ. Tonbridge and Royal Coll. of Science, S. Kensington, and St. Bartholemew's Hosp.., He worked on Mr Rolfe's station at Alpha in Queensland and on railway construction in the Malay States in the Union Castle Steamship co. and of the Transvaal Repatriation Department. In this last service he was ordered to Ladysmith, Natal and obeyed although he was suffering from typhoid fever. He died of peritonitis at the hospital at Ladysmith. s.p.
