, Clerk in Connal office (1939). She lived with her sister in a cottage in Downham Market. Cedric P. Newton met her and her sister several times. Dolcie was bedridden and made a big fuss of the birds she could see from her bed. She and her sister wrote to the Queen every year at Christmas time and they always received a reply!
