Empire, etc. (succ.1879 acc. to primogeniture his 2nd cousin-once-removed Baron Karl VII.), & 6th Baron Masenbach in the Kingdoms of Bavaria & Wuerttemberg (succ.1909 his 1st cousin-once-removed Baron Hermann III.), Of Eggersberg-bei-Kahlheim and Munich. Knight of the Roy. Bavarian Order of St Georg, of Eggersberg-bei-Kehlheim & Munich, Bavaria, Major Roy. Bavarian 3rd Horse Artillary Regt., Intimate friend of the Bavarian Royal Family, etc. Retaining (1/8th) Remainder Right of Succession to Massenbach he was co-succ. by his nephews Max III. and Wilhelm XVI. s.p. "He was an intimate friend of the Bavarian Royal Family who enjoyed country pursuits with him, particularly shooting.
