Stafford Henry Northcote , probable son? The Hon. Edward Frederic Northcote, TD, who died at Trinity Hospice, 12 November, 2006, was a younger son of the 3rd Earl of Iddesleigh (1901-70) by his wife the former Elizabeth Lowndes; and yr brother of the 4th Earl (1932-2004). He was born in 1934; educated at Downside & Trinity College, Oxford (MA); Major, Intelligence Corps (T & AVR); Cyprus 1957; Association of Inst of Cost & Works Accountants; a Principal Officer, HM Treasury, 1969-71; married 1963 (div 1980), Vivien Sheena, daughter of Colonel Robert John Augustine Hornby, OBE (descended from the Bruce Baronets, cr. 1628); by whom he had issue. Requiem mass took place at Our Lady of Pity & St. Simon's Stock, Putney, 24 November, 2006.
