Richard Power 1630 - 1690
Richard Power , eldest son. (succ. 1607 his father John), & P.C. (1686), 1661 Governor of Waterford, 1679 charged with treason, 1681 gaining his discharge, following his 1690 defence Cork taken prisoner to the Tower of London where he died. He was succ. by his son John (1664-93). See DNB Vol. 16
