A Memorial of an assignment dated the Twenty third day of August One Thous(an)d & Seven hun(dre)d & Thirty Eight (August 23, 1738) Whereby David Power of Cocheenin in the County of Galway Esq. assign'd transferr'd & set over unto his Grand Neece Sarah Denis (sic) then living & residing within his dwelling house Grand Dau(ghte)r to his sister Hellen FitzGerald other Callaghan other Power by her dau(ghte)r Mary Allhis Right Title & Int. to the Town and Sands of Glanailara Cont. Ninety eight (98) acres Twenty (20) Perches Irish Plantation measure (more or less) & also the Mountain or Common thereunto belonging situate in the Half Barony of Loughrea & County of Galway aforesaid as ment(ione)d in the Lease of said Prem(ise)s (?) to said Dav(i)d Power therein recited Together with said Lease to Hold with the appur(tenance)s unto the said Sarah Denis her Ex(ecuto)rs & Adm(inistrato)rs & Assigns from the first day of May then last during all the Remainder of the Term yet to come & unexpir(e)d of thirty one (31) years by said Lease granted at and under the yearly Rents Covenants Conditions and Agreem(en)ts in the said Lease Reserv'd Contain'd which said Assignment is Witnessed by Michael Brady of Coocheen Gent.
