The John Vawser you have as 1833-post 1858, should be John William Vawser born 30 Jan 1832, March, Cambs, died 5 Oct 1905 Fayette County, Iowa, USA, married in 1867 in Fayette County, Iowa, to Mary Ann Romaine born 6 Oct 1850 Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey. John arrived in the USA on 2 Oct 1850 on the ship "Victoria". They had 12 children. The John Vawser in Strays who went to Australia in 1857 is his father, but I cannot account for a John Vawser listed going to Australia 1858. To read a biography of John William Vawser do an internet search for JOHN VAWSER PAGE 416. That is from "Portrait and Biographical Album of Fayette County, Iowa", published in 1891.
