Alexander Stuart 
Watt
, 3rd son. he settled in Paris after the Second World war. Here he developed a career in journalism covering art and gastronomy. He was a regular contributor for the Daily Telegraph and also wrote for Art in America, Studio magazine and Apollo magazine. Culinary guides and gastronomy books were also published such as "Paris Cuisine" with James Beard, and "The Art of Simple French Cookery."
