Luke White , Related? Subject: [IRL-TIP] 30-10-1849 Freeman's Journal / HENRY WHITE / GOLDENVILLE Can anyone tell me if this Henry WHITE listed as owning the house called "Goldenville" is the same Henry White Esquire (of Golden Hills and New Ross, Co. Tipperary, a Magistrate for Cos. Limerick and Tipperary) who married Elizabeth MAUNSELL? If so, have run across a court case about the hijincks his sister in law Dorothea MAUNSELL got up to and would like to share with the list if it is the right person, as I think it makes for very interesting reading. (If I didn't know it was true I'd think it was a trashy victorian novel!) Elizabeth and Dorothea MAUNSELL were the daughters of Thomas MAUNSELL (born c1709) and Dorothea WALLER (born c1708). The Thomas Maunsell family lived mainly on Molesworth street in Dublin but I believe Thomas' father was a Limerick Man. Henry WHITE Esq. and wife Elizabeth MAUNSELL had a daughter named Emma Maunsell WHITE who in 1845 married Sir Thomas Judkin-FitzGerald (1820-1864) 3rd Baronet of this line (committed suicide in 1864 by drowning himself in the river Suir near his home in Goldenhills Co Tipperary) [This line of Fitz-Geralds were actually UNIACKEs a few generations back] At any rate, has anyone ran across a reference to this house of Henry WHITE called "Goldenville" before? Thanks! Kathy Rhodes
