Transcript of will of Humphrey Jones, later rector of Llanfaethlu, co.
To wife Mary Jones tmts. In Montgomeryshire and interest of money and
use of furniture for life. All furniture on her death to son Humphrey
Jones, with books and papers (except securities) and except plate,
plated vessels and gold rings to be divided equally between sons
Humphrey , John and Herbert on decease of their mother. Remits to son
John all that t. has lent him "above a hundred pounds"; also ¹5 for
mourning. To son Herbert remainder of his bond with interest and ¹5
for mourning. Rest of effects etc. to Humphrey in trust for t.'s
granddtr. Elizabeth Jones, after payment of debts and funeral
expenses, to be laid out till her age 21.

¹50 to son John for carryuing out improvements at Pwyllnillo(?) or any
Codicil: 13 August 1793 (sic)
Cancels last bequest. Leaves ¹100 to son John.

, minor and garnddtr., and residuary legatee to age 21.

Anglesey. To wife Mary leaves his property in Montgomeryshire and the
interest on his money with the use of his furniture during her life.
To son Humphrey Jones, on death of his mother, leaves all his
furniture, books and papers except the securities and some plate and
rings, etc. The plates, plated vessels and golden rings are to be
equally divided between his sons Humphrey, John and Herbert on the
death of their mother. They also get ¹5. 5s. 0d. to buy mourning
clothes. He remits to his son John Jones the ¹100 he recently lent
him. Remits to his son Herbert the remainder of his bond and interest.
Leaves rest of his estate to son Humphrey Jones in trust for his
grand-daughter Elizabeth Jones.
