To the Registrar appointed by Act of Parliament for registering deeds
conveyances and so forth
A Memorial of the last will and testament of David Brandon Power of
Cottage (sic) in the County of Galway Esquire deceased bearing date
the twenty second day of October one thousand eight hundred and twenty
three (October 22, 1823), and which will is in the words and figures
following In the name of God Amen I David Brandon Power of Cottage in
the County of Galway do make this my last will and testament I devise
and bequeath all my real estates of Boulabane (sic), Ballybogan (sic)
and Keeloges (sic) and Gortnamanagh (sic) together with all the
estates in the said County of Galway with all my freehold leases and
leaves for ever renewable for ever held under the Earl of Clanrickard
unto my nephew Robert Power of the City of Dublin Attorney and his
heirs for ever, subject to all my debts and legacies I bequest unto my
niece Teresa Keely or Kealy one thousand (1,000) pounds sterling and I
appoint the said Robert Power my sole executor and residuary legatee
and I desire to be buried in the next churchyard where I should happen
to die. I give under my hand and seal this twenty second day of
October one thousand eight hundred and twenty three (October 22, 1823)
David B. Power (the word "seal"is circled at this point). And said
Will as to the execution buy said David B. Power is witnessed by
Walter McDonnell Esquire Doctor of Medicine, William Pigott Esqre.
Half-pay Captain in the Army, Martin Forde and Patrick Whyte Gent all
of Loughrea in the County of Galway and this Memorial duly perfected
by said Robert Power and is witnessed by said Walter McDonnell of
Loughrea Esq. Doctor of Medicine and also by Patrick Whyte of Loughrea

The above named Walter McDonnell maketh oath and saith that he is a
subscribing witness to the reg(illegible) will of David Brandon Power
of which the above writing contains a true copy Deponent saith that
he saw the above named David Brandon Power deceased duly sign, seal,
publish (?) and declare the reg(illegible) will of which the above
writing is a Memorial as his last will and testament and Deponent
saith he saw the above named Robert Power the devisee named in said
will duly sign and seal the above Memorial Deponent saith that the
name Walter McDonnell subscribed as a witness to said will and
Memorial is this deponent's proper name and handwriting.
Sworn before me (illegible) Extraordinary for receiving affidavits for
his Majesty's Hihg Court of Chancery in Ireland at Loughrea in the
County of Galway this 11th October 1826 and I know the deponent

My real estates of Boulahane [? Ballyloughann], Ballylogan, Keelogues
and Gornamanagh [Co. Galway] with all my freehold leases held under
the Earl of Clanrickard to my newphew Robert Power of city of Dublin,
attorney, and his heirs for ever, subject to my debts and legacies. To
my niece Teresa Keely or Kealy ¹1,000. Sole exr., and residuary
legatee said Robert Power.
I desire to be buried in the next churchyard where I happen to die.
Witnesses: Walter MacDonnell, Esq., Doctor of medicine, William
Pigott, Esq., hal;f pay captain in the army, and Martin Forde and
Patrick White, gents., all of Loughrea, Co. Galway.
