Rev. Thomas Babthorpe 1444 - 1517
Rev. Thomas Babthorpe , on the death of his nephew in law, Sir John Hastings, he took forcible possession of Babthorpe on behalf of his 11 year old nephew. He had bought the wardship of his nephew William from his brother in law William Bedell. Provost of the Collegiate church of Hemingborough.
