The term e.g. "5th" Baron does not apply to this family as the title (Imperial patent as Baron 1698) was not primog., but given in the usual manner to Johann K. v. B. (who I suppose could be construed as the "1st" Baron, but thereafter such numbers lose their meaning) and his descendance, and in 1731 was further given to the descendance of his brother Hieronymus K. v. B. The family had received an Imperial grant of arms in 1594, and Imperial nobility in 1615. Hieronymus (above) had become a hereditary Imperial Knight in 1709.
