See:- The Pulleynes of Yorkshire by Catharine Pullein, pub. privately in 1915 tree in Catharine Pullein's book titled "PULLEYN OF TIMBLE AND SCOTTON HALL" lists John Pulleyn "of Bloberhous" and "of Ripley" (d bef. 1437). His male children are Ralph Pulleyn of Scotton (ancestor of the Scotton branch) and William Pulleyn of Ripley. Arms.-Azure, on a bend cotised argent, three escalop shells gules, on a chief or, as many martlets sable (Pulleyn) (Pulleyn of Burley)
