, Baronda Serra da Estrella. Knight Commander of the Royal Portuguese Order of the Tower and Sword, D.C.L., F.R.S., a deputy lieutenant and a justice of the peace for the co. of Kent. In 1803, he was appointed one of the esquires at the installation of Sir Joseph Banks as a Knight of the Order of the Bath.
