, a tanner, (or a farmer?) of Charnock Richard He appeared before the Quarter Sessions Court at Wigan on 13 Feb 1679, for refusing to attend the services of the Established Church. His parents were recorded in the Return of Papists for the Diocese of Chester in 1705 under Charnock Richard together with Robert Foster Farmer, and his wife and two children. Only son.
