Martha Hibburd , 1881 census, head of the (boarding) school at Bell Farm. There were 13 boarders there for the census. Head of Classical School (1891). On a website dealing with pubs:The area outside the precincts of Windsor was mainly that of farmland with various hamlets. The area known as Clewer as against Clewer Village boasted only one beer seller, a Mr Henry Thwaites who ran the Criterion in Clewer Green.
