After the closure of the Glamorgan Pottery, Chambers saw the opportunity for a new pottery and the new one was built in 1839. Some of the plant was brought from the Glamorgan Pottery and incorporated, Some key workers also relocated to Llanelli. The new Pottery also took on the designs. He retained control of the pottery until 1855, when his father died. The business was sublet to Messrs Coombe and Holland but was surrendered back in 1858, whereupon Chambers entered into a new agreement with William Holland who continued on his own, until 1868 then with David Guest until 1875 when it ceased to trade.
