Ellis Merry c. 1856 - 1938
Ellis Merry , College servant (1881). Undertaker and a very influential man in Cambridge. He ran the first penny bus ride (a converted hearse) and the first ambulance. There is a small piece written about him in the folk museum in Cambridge.
