, he married twice but d.s.p. R.C.As Evan Morgan he was a regular at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant in Percy Street (along with his friends Augustus John, Aldous Huxley, Ronald Firbank etc) He became Lord Tredegar in 1934 and entertained friends such as HG Wells, Marchesa Casati, Aleister Crowley, Prince Paul of Greece and Lord Alfred Douglas at Tredegar House in Wales. His pets included a boxing kangaroo, a honey bear, baboons that stalked the gardeners, an anteater and a parrot would sit on his shoulder. He was also a Chamberlain to the Pope yet dabbled in black magic! His London homes were in Queen Annes Gate, South Audley Street and Grosvenor Square.
