, cricketer. Amateur batsman that did great things for Somerset. Oxford Blue (1890-93) and Captain of the side in the last two years. Also represented the University in the Three Miles Race. Played Association Football for Corinthians. His averages in the 1890's meant he was one of the greatest bats of his day. Often choosen to play for the Gentleman against the Players. Never toured with England but did play for the side in the 1902 series.
