James has a monument in front of the Parish Church in Barrington. THIS is theLAST WILL and TESTAMENT of me James Prime of Barrington, in the County of Cambridge, retired Grocer. I appoint my son Eliot and my son in law James Chapman, Trustees Exector and Trustees of this my will. I give my two cottages and Gardens at Orwell and the house and garden at No. 23 Kingston St. in the Borough of Cambridge and one hundred and fifty pounds to my son son Eliot Prime. I give two cottages and gardens and orchard at Haslingfield in the county of cambridge and all the shares I have in the London County and Westminster Bank to my daughter Eliza Chapman. I give two hundred pounds to the children of my Eliza Chapman in equal shares. I give two hundred pounds to the children of my son David in New Zealand in equal shares. I give thirty pounds to my grand daughter Lizzie Thurston of Maidstone, Kent. and it is my will to have a good stone at my grave in memory of me, my wife, and my son George. I give and devize all the residue of my property whatsoever and whersoever upon trust to sell, call in and convert the same or so much thereof as shall not consist of money.
