Arthur Haldiman(d) Prinsep , Hart's Army List, 1873 - has the following entry: Arthur Haldimand PRINSEP, Bengal Cavalry; Squadron Officer, 11 Bengal Cavalry 2nd Lieut.,Cornet or Ensign : 20 Oct 1856 Lieutenant : 23 Jan 1857 Captain : 17 Nov 1863 Captain A.H. Prinsep was present at the mutiny of his Regiment, the 6th Bengal Light Cavalry, at Sealkote, on the 9th July 1857 and was wounded. He afterwards served against the rebels in the Gogarian Jungles, and was present at the final seige and capture of Lucknow (Medal with Clasp). Bombay Times Bombay General Orders 05 May 1858 Lt Arthur Haldimand Prinsep, of the 4th Bengal European Light Cavalry 15mos medical leave with cert to Europe.
