, formerly of Fulham, London, Minister of the Church. At age 4 lost most of his hearing due to an infection, which was not treated being before the widespread use of penycillin. Private chauffeur (1939). He and his wife lived in Southampton until after 1950. Worked in a tea factory in Fulham. There is a photo of him outside a shop signed W.A. Smith.
