Conway Frederick Charles Seymour 1823 - 1914
Conway Frederick Charles Seymour , ... Messenger Foreign Office (1861). M Davis 27 May 2006 ?? Capt. Conway Frederick Charles Seymour, eldest son of Frederick Charles William Seymour (cousin of Francis George Hugh Seymour, 5th Marquess of Hertford) appears to have married. I was hoping someone could shed some light on this. He was apparently born in Florence, Italy. He appears in the 1860 census along with his sister Eliza Frederica Horatia as living in Brington with their cousin (they are erronously listed as bother and sister in laws to the head of household) Adelaide Horatia Elizabeth Seymour who was the second wife of Frederick Spencer, 4th Earl Spencer. He appears again in the 1881 census living in London where his occupation is listed as "Queens Foreign Service Messenger" which accords with information found in Burke's, etc. He is also noted as married to a lady named Blanche who was born circa 1851 in Brussels, Belgium. They appear again in the 1901 census. However his marriage to a "Blanche Seymour" isn't registered until 1889. Any expansion/refutation of this information would be appreciated.
