Nicholas Vaux , Sheriff of Northamptonshire (appt. 5th Nov. 1495, again 5 Nov 1501 and yet again 10 Nov. 1516). Constable of Rockingham Castle etc..(Jun 1502). Held the office of Lieutenant of Guisnes. His neigbour was {Sir} Anthony Green, whose kinsman's daughter became Sir Nicholas' second wife.
