Worsley, daughter of late Rev. J. Fisher Turner; one son four daughters. Education: privately. Work: Joined 5th Bengal NI 1855; served as a volunteer with the Artillery at siege and assault of Delhi, 1857 (medal with clasp); with the Queen's Own Guides at the battle of Narnoul, November 1857; in the Eusufzai Expedition, 1858; Waziri Expedition, 1859 (Indian Frontier medal); joined the political Department at Indore in 1860; Superintendent of Dhar State, 1861-1863; served in Central Province Commission, 1864-1885; in 1882 was Special Commissioner in charge of an expedition against the Khonds in Kalahandi; Minister of the Bhopal State, 1885-1888; rejoined Central Province Commission, 1889; retired in 1892 as Colonel in the Staff Corps and Commissioner of the Nerbudda Division Central Provinces. Decorated for trying and arduous work in Bhopal. Recreations: shooting, in India big-game shooting. Address: Berkeley Avenue, Reading. Clubs: Berkshire. Died: 22 December 1907
