Henry FitzGerald de Roos formerly FitzGerald 1761 - 1829
Henry FitzGerald de Roos formerly FitzGerald, 3rd son. Served in the Army. After his brother Edward's death in 1798, his antagonism had deepened aginst the Tory administration and he favoured electoral reform. Later, he supported Radical Parliamentary candidates. He was generally blamed for Queen Caroline's conversion to the Whigs before 1809. He became quite a favourite with the Queen, commonly believed to be her lover between 1809 and the end of 1810.
