His age is given as 28, which does not check with the baptism date already noted for him. Kelly's Directory in 1908,1912,1916,1922,1925,1929 editions all show an Ebenezer Giddings as a shopkeeper in Orwell. He is not listed in the 1933 edition. He ran the shop with his daughter, Sarah.
