, She may have been born in Hereford. English actress. Her debut was at king's theatre in 1665. As a leading comedienne from 1666-69, she excelled in gay and sprightly roles. In 1667, she became mistress of [Missing XREF c-stuart63726] whose affection she retained until his death.
