Sir John McMahon , The Treble Almanac 1812 (Dublin) lists him in House of Commons section: Aldeburgh, Suffolk John McMahon, esq; privy-purse, secretary and keeper of the privy seal; and council seal to the Prince of Wales; a counsellor of State and auditor of the duchy of Cornwall, and receivor and Paymaster of the Royal Bounty to Officers Widows, (Charles st, St. James's, and at Carlton House) eldest son, by his father's 1st wife.
