George Richard Power-Lalor , Lt. Tipperary Artillery, of Long Orchard, co. Tipperary. d.s.p. Commissioned Lt. in the British Militia Forces (5th Brigae South Irish Division, Royal Artillery) in 1885. This may be he: Nenagh Guardian 7th June 1886. Mr. George Power-Lalor, of Long Orchard, was summoned by Constable Costigan at Templemore Sessions for having discharged a loaded gun on the public road at Templetuohy on May 25th. The accused was represented by Mr. Arnold Power, Solicitor, Thurles, who put in a plea of guilty on hisbehalf. As the Magistrates were unable to perceive any mitigating circumstances in the case, they imposed the maximum penalty of ten shillings and costs.
