Founding Ancestor of the so-called "South German Branch" of the Massenbach Family otherwise referred to as the FAMILY "(GEMMINGEN) von MASSENBACH", he was co-succ. by his surviving sons, "Georg V. (post/ca.1581-1631)", "Heinrich V. (post/ca.1582-1609)", "Hans VI. (ca.1585-1630)", "Kaspar II. (ca.1586-ante/1630)", and "Christof Wilhelm II. (ca.1589-1630)".
