(Neegoose), It is apparent that at some time during the sixteen years between the birth of their second daughter Elizabeth in 1589 and the birth of their son Henry's first son in 1605, the whole family had moved from Henlow to Clapham. The logical reason for this move could be a purchase or an inheritance of land at Clapham. A search of Negus wills shows only one candidate for a possible inheritance, that of William Negus, 1598, Clapham; however an examination of this will reveals only bequests to immediate family and no mention of either Michael or of Katherine Guidinge.
