[ca.1527-1602"] his 1st cousin-once-removed Baron Christof Wilhelm I.), and 2nd Baron Massenbach in the Kingdom of Sweden (succ.1607 acc. to primogeniture his yr bros. Baron "Hans V."), 14th Feudal Co-Lord (1/2) of Massenbach, etc., & Lord of Neuken, Bregden, Gabditten, Reinsdorf, Rheinschendorf, Littigen, Luncheniken, Lamiken, Meluken, Packerau, Trawkeyn, etc., in East Prussia. Founding Ancestor of the so-called "South German Branch" of the Massenbach Family otherwise referred to as the FAMILY "(GEMMINGEN) von MASSENBACH", he was co-succ. by his surviving sons, "Georg V. (post/ca.1581-1631)", "Heinrich V. (post/ca.1582-1609)", "Hans VI. (ca.1585-1630)", "Kaspar II. (ca.1586-ante/1630)", and "Christof Wilhelm II. (ca.1589-1630)". Legal dispensations and confirmations of honours (Hohe Gerichtsbarkeit and Rotwachsseigelfreiheit) for himself and heirs male of his house received from Emp. Charles V on 10 Mar 1556. He acquired Neuken on his marriage.
