Jane Ferguson 1794 - 1827
Jane Ferguson , "the Rose of Ulster". One of her sisters married a William Goddard. After she died in 1827, this sister took on Jane's sons to look after. Her husband's rigid presbyterianism caused the isolation of the children from their father whom they were taught to regard as a reprobate and an outcast.
